ABOUT
I am a freelance scriptwriter, editor and arts marketer based in Manchester.
In 2022 I won the Channel 4 Writing for Television Award and went on to work with Rollem Productions to develop an original TV pilot. In 2023 I was selected for the LOOP Audio Fund to develop a new audio drama with Free Turn and Screen Yorkshire and also part of the 2023 BFI Script Lab. My short film script Cass & Roya was chosen by the BFI Short Film Fund and is currently in post-production.
I have written and directed theatre and film to commission for organisations including the international HeforShe campaign, with work staged at theatres such as The Pleasance, Arcola, Attenborough Arts Centre and The Bread & Roses Theatre. In 2025 I won the DCC Playwriting Prize for my play Bears Bears Bears, which had a two-week run at Contact Theatre in May 2026.
In 2024 I was part of BBC Midlands & Northern Voices 2024 and won the Women X Film Festival 2024 Script Competition, as well as becoming one of four writers chosen for the Warner Brothers Discovery Access Northern Writers Programme, where I developed new work with Wall to Wall North, Warner Brothers and the Royal Exchange Theatre over six months.

I am the Editor-in-Chief of Flourish Magazine, an independent magazine by and for the cancer community.
My work in PR and marketing has included campaigns for organisations such as In Place of War, Dibby Theatre, Without Walls, An Indian Summer Festival, Camden Fringe Festival, Dash Arts and more.
